One phenomenal wedding leads to another. That’s been my experience, anyway. I met Sarah and Ryan through another all-star couple and was immediately smitten. Great people just flock together. Sarah and Ryan’s approach to their wedding was a dream come true for me. They wanted to relax and enjoy every minute as it unfolded, so they allowed me free range to gather up moments. It takes a special couple to sit back and enjoy, to avoid getting pulled into the tiny minutiae of last second planning. Their joyful attitudes were contagious and everyone I met that day was spectacular. The wedding party was a delight. The family (many of whom I already knew) treated me like their own. Most of all, not one second was posed or inauthentic. The love, sincerity and beauty of the entire day shown bright. I couldn’t be happier for this kind, thoughtful and gorgeous couple.
As always, a few favorites from my vantage point…
There is inevitably a moment — usually right after the dress is put on — when the magnitude of the day strikes the important people on scene. It is so breathtaking to see it all unfold, like the mother of the bride seeing her stunning girl ready for the altar…
Of course, I wasn’t going to let Sarah leave without some timeless bridal portraits…
The First Look was spectacular, love that second shooter angle from up high!
Sarah and Ryan built in lots of time for natural shots around the Crooked Lake property…
The happiness just beams from them…
The day was made even better with a fantastic wedding party! Shout out to this amazing crew!
I’ve shot at Crooked Lake many times before and I love how intimate the setting is, people don’t notice when I get up close and personal…
To me, the reactions of the guests are as amazing as this pro dance move!
An unforgettable party followed!
Some cool shots to end the evening…
Sarah and Ryan, every minute of your day was sensational! I didn’t think it was possible to love you two even more! Thank you for the honor and gift of documenting your first day of forever.

The bridesmaids dresses for the recent wedding I posted can be found from the Weddington Way website, they are from Alfred and Angelo, the color is cabernet:
