First, a brief history: I met Shelby and her mom at another wedding I was documenting last year and immediately fell for their kindness and warmth. They were so present and joyful on that day, ready to assist the couple and adding to the magic of that wedding.
I was beyond excited and honored when they reached out for me to photograph Shelby’s wedding in Virginia. It was a beautiful day with awesome people, but what struck me was how the afternoon was filled with so many heartfelt moments. There were tears, lots of them. Yet there was just as much silliness and straight up belly laughs. In a nutshell? It was heaven.
