Moments after MiKayla was finished in the hair and makeup chair, she walked out to the getting ready room, upstairs at Syracuse’s Landmark Theatre. All of her best girlfriends shrieked upon seeing her. It set the tone for the rest of the day, which was a mix of crying/laughing/everyone having the time of their lives. The Landmark Theatre is breathtaking in every corner, a perfect backdrop for a First Look and formal portraits that have a regal look. And, while I do love pretty scenes, I must say…a few people stole the show that day and it wasn’t the bride and groom! This wedding had some incredible moments. The bride’s friend — a theater pro — sung the first dance. MiKayla’s father followed up by leaving everyone in absolute tears as he sang to his best girl during the toast. It was something I’ll never forget, as long as I am breathing. It remains one of the most beautiful moments I have witnessed in my lifetime.
