The month of February is typically a slow one for me. In the past, it’s been a time for reflection, planning, and, binge watching workshops from the world’s greatest photographers!
This year, however, I wanted to create. I decided to honor some of my favorite local women by capturing environmental portraits of them. March is Women’s History Month, so it made sense to highlight these women, who contribute greatly to their part of the world. I am fueled by their positivity, energy and radiance. I meet a lot of amazing women through the years, so this is my little love letter to them!
These women totally showed up for me. Some gave me multiple days, spent spring break time away from their kids, pushed themselves out of their comfort zone, and thoughtfully gave me as much time as I needed. I am endlessly grateful.
