When we arrive at a wedding and already know most of the wedding party and VIP list, the day is absolutely effortless. I photographed this bride’s sister way back when, along with a few of her close friends. The excitement I have for a wedding where people know me and my style is phenomenal: people are so much more comfortable around us, we get intimate photos easily, and, everyone just treats us like a guest with a camera! We absolutely love this couple and how they crafted their wedding day at The Cannery in Vernon, NY. Not only did they write their own vows, but the groom got a wedding ring tattooed on his finger during cocktail hour (and he was an absolute champ and didn’t flinch!). This wedding was fun, romantic… and it was so hard to narrow faves…
