Things tend to come full circle in life in the best possible ways! Nearly 15 years ago I moved back to the east coast after living in Sacramento and Seattle (as a reporter). Even though I was taking photos at various news stories, I didn’t have familiarity taking pictures of children or family portraits. I posted on Craigslist to see if I could practice on some families who had children…the catch was, I wanted to photograph inside their homes and spend time with their littles! Well, you’d never guess what happened, but the most wonderful mom actually responded to my ad! A friendship was immediately struck (and many jokes later that I could have been a Craigslist maniac) and here we are…we documented her intimate elopement style wedding last week at Boldt Castle! It was a dream day on so many levels and I’m excited to share these with you all…
