When we photographed this lovely couple’s wedding, the bride had mentioned how incredible it would be if she could take photos with her majestic horse. And that reason, is exactly why we offer Adventure Sessions! This photo shoot is perfect for our couples who want to incorporate something into their wedding that they just can’t fit into the normal day of events (as you can imagine, wedding days fly by).
Sometimes couples want to have their pets in wedding photos, but the venue doesn’t allow animals on site. Sometimes an elderly relative couldn’t make it to the wedding, but the couple wants an in-person visit in their wedding attire. Other times, the couple wants to travel someplace special to their hearts (like where they met), but there just isn’t enough time on the actual wedding day. And sometimes, it’s totally unplanned! The entire day can run late because of a whole host of reasons, so when we can’t get enough couple’s portraits, an Adventure Session is the perfect antidote!
The Adventure Session has been something we’ve offered for years as a complimentary service for our couples, so there is no question they’ll get beautiful and relaxed wedding portraits…because those are the ones that end up in the heirloom album and as wall art!
