From the moment I met Jenna and Eric (through video chat no less), they grabbed on to my heart. The genuine kindness and thoughtfulness that flows from these two humans is astounding. I never felt like a stranger to them. When we met for their engagement session<\/a>, I was instantly struck not only by their beauty, but their total devotion to each other. It was palpable. And yet, they still expressed genuine interest in photography and even my lackluster running (ha ha). Seriously, in the frenetic pace that can be planning a wedding, they were always calm, cool, amazing. It all blew me away.<\/p>\n

Jenna and Eric’s wedding day was just…everything. It was one of those days where perfect moments and connections sprung up right in front of me, all the while people were so open to me capturing them. Each minute was an honor and a pleasure.<\/p>\n

I love everything about them, so it was hard to narrow down some favorite photos…<\/p>\n

The back story behind these next fiery sunset photos: Jenna and Eric had just sat down to dinner after patiently wandering around the property to get the full contingent of formal photo groupings. This is the time when I tell the couple they can go relax and enjoy the entire reception, I’ll bother them after the last dance for night shots. They are finally relieved of photo duties and I don’t want them even noticing me! Anyway, everyone was eating dinner and the sky just opened up into this magnificent orange hue, so I ran over while they were eating to see if they wanted to grab some sunset shots. WITHOUT hesitation, they both jumped up at the exact same time and replied, “Let’s go!”<\/p>\n

Add that to the million reasons why I love them. Their class and grace overwhelms me…oh, and I think the photos were worth it!<\/p>\n
