First, a brief history: I met Shelby and her mom at another wedding I was documenting last year and immediately fell for their kindness and warmth. They were so present and joyful on that day, ready to assist the couple and adding to the magic of that wedding.<\/p>\n

I was beyond excited and honored when they reached out for me to photograph Shelby’s wedding in Virginia. It was a beautiful day with awesome people, but what struck me was how the afternoon was filled with so many heartfelt moments. There were tears, lots of them. Yet there was just as much silliness and straight up belly laughs. In a nutshell? It was heaven.<\/p>\n

Shelby is old school Hollywood glamour and I love her!<\/p>\n

Not a dry eye ANYWHERE for Shelby’s First Look with her dad…<\/p>\n

Then she did the First Look with her groom and the emotions were so incredibly beautiful…<\/p>\n

We wandered around for a few relaxed portraits on the gorgeous grounds of Riverside on the Potomac.<\/a><\/p>\n

Pastel purple and blues looks great in these cascading flower bouquets…<\/p>\n

Again, the emotions at this wedding were breathtaking. A testament to how adored Shelby and Patrick are and what happens when two close and loving families unite…<\/p>\n
